Collection 01

The house

Named for Meroë.

Meroë was the royal city of the Kingdom of Kush, on the Nile in what is now Sudan. MERO's pieces are drawn from its temples: the lotus that crowns the columns at Naqa, the colour that once covered them, the gold its queens wore.
